Dr. Johnny Payne, DNP, FNP, has over 25 years of healthcare experience in Primary Care, Pain Management, and Urgent Care. His diverse medical background has given him a broad perspective on healthcare and confirms his need to maintain a patient-centered approach by practicing functional medicine. He believes the current move to turn healthcare into a cookie-cutter experience with a one-size-fits-all approach is a mistake.
His training includes certification in orthopedic technology, critical care, trauma nursing, family practice, and advanced pain management. Johnny completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from OHSU (Summa Cum Laude) and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Portland. His doctoral studies focused on family practice and integrative health care. Dr. Payne strives to provide a personal level of care, including listening to the client carefully and tailoring a care plan that fits each individual’s needs.
He enjoys spending time with his wife of over 30 years, Michelle, and his adult children when possible, skiing, bicycling, and playing guitar at unhealthy volumes.
