The Dr. was awesome. My only disappointment was finding the office closed when I got there. After I knocked someone opened the door but didn't say anything, but went back behind the window to share in bakery goods, not a good first impression. I signed in and waited for someone to call me. She told me she couldn't find the forms I pre filled on zocdoc, so I did them over.

Soon after she became a Resident at the The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Weill Medical College of Cornell University, Brooklyn, NY and received her residency in OBGYN in 2002. She then began her own practice in Tarzana, CA. She has been highly regarded in her residency at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and was awarded the Chief Resident position.

Dr. Russo is the best. My daughter and I both visit her office and we love her. She treats you like a friend and not like another patient. She tries to get you in and out of there without making you feel like you are being rushed out.

Loved Dr. Russo since we're from the same area. I did not appreciate being accused by the front desk of coming in on the wrong day, saying "We must not have confirmed it." I had three emails from ZocDoc, including the confirmation email, saying the date and time WAS correct. Not sure what happened there, but I assumed the front desk did not want to admit her mistake. She was able to schedule me 30-40 minutes from my original time, thankfully.

My company's health insurance provider switched at the beginning of this year and I was stuck finding a new OBGYN, ugh! I was super disappointed because of all the doctors to have to switch, my OBGYN is the last one I'd want to search for all over again. After reading her Zoc Doc reviews, I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Russo. Today was my first one. Going to the "lady doctor" can be an awkward experience, but Dr. Russo made me feel comfortable instantly. She seemed genuinely interested in me as a person, and did not make me feel like just another patient she needed to rush in and out. Turns out the insurance switch was a blessing in disguise. I've definitely found my new OBGYN!

Since I was a first-time patient, she had a quick meeting with me beforehand to learn about my history, lifestyle, habits, activities, etc., which I appreciate, since I believe it all informs your overall health. Dr. Russo is absolutely fantastic. Nothing is more awkward than having a stranger fondle you lady bits within 10 mins of greeting, but her approach is lighthearted and distracting from the actual task ahead. Fun, young, sweet and very knowledgable. So glad I found her!

I think Dr. Russo is amazing, so easy to talk to about any problem or situation. I highly recommend her specially if you are shy and don't know how to talk about a delicate issue. She will put you at ease and make you comfortable enough so you can speak to her about any delicate problem.

Dr. Russo was really great - So nice and accommodating and the consultation chat wasn't awkward at all, like it can be sometimes. Through small talk, I also found out that she sees a bunch of my friends/coworkers and that was nice to hear too. I'll have a full check-up in 6 months, but my first impression was 5 stars :D
