Dr. Nissanoff addressed my problem right away and I received

I felt that the Dr. was VERY rushed...spent maybe 30 seconds with me...quick diagnosis. Sent me to physical therapy (the place he gave me to mgo was terrible)...and he gave me a prescription that I was getting ready to fill at my pharmacy when I received a call from a mail-order pharmacy approx. 75 miles from where I lived. I was told that the Dr. faxed them an order --- unbeknownst to me and certainly without my authorization. They could fill my prescription and overnight it to me (no charge), but (a) it was still going to take 2 days to reach me and (b) not at all pleased that a doctor's office would do this without asking my permission or even making me aware of it. I was totally unimpressed with the quality and communication and have since decided not to return to see this physician.

This is a wonderful physician who is very knowledgeable and has a calming demeanor. My only complaint would be occasional difficulty with certain front staff members. I spoke with Dr. Nissanoff about it at my last visit and am hoping the problem was taken care of.

Having been involved in a rather life-changing accident, Dr. Nissanoff has made very effort to provide myriad treatment options, accommodating my needs and on my schedule when possible. He is sensitive my apprehensions and trepeditations, and always makes sure I understand what's happening. I travel a great distance to see Dr. Nissanoff - because he's worth it!

I went in briefly a couple weeks ago . He could've been more friendly and welcoming. I understand a doctor has to see a lot of patients in a day and is incredibly busy, but I've never felt more like "just a number" with a doctor. I was ushered in and out so quickly without so much as a smile. Maybe he was having a bad day, which we're all allowed to have...But when you work in an industry where people are coming to you with ailments that are deeply concerning them, you should probably learn to put your bad day aside, at least while you're with them one on one. On the chances it was an off day, I'd say don't take my review as your basis. I'm just saying how it felt for me this time around.

Dr. Nissanoff is a very good doctor, but the hour and a half wait soured me on the entire experience. I arrived at 7:45 AM for an 8:00 appointment and was brushed off by the receptionist when I asked if I could check in. I asked three more times over the next half hour if I could check in and she said she had already checked me in. Three patients who arrived after me were taken back to see the doctor by 8:30, and I finally managed to speak to another receptionist who told me I wasn't checked in. I then had to fill out a second patient history form, which wasn't even given to the doctor, I presume, as I had to repeat all of it for him orally later.
I wasn't taken back to a room until 9:00, and wasn't seen by the doctor until 9:30. When I tried to check out, the receptionist I spoke to had the wrong chart and tried to convince me I was scheduling a spinal surgery when I was, in fact, there for a knee injury.
I very much liked Dr. Nissanoff and was satisfied with his treatment, but his staff was far from impressive. My hope is that it was just a bad day for them.

The appointment was very helpful for my current situation of not knowing what I did to my shoulder. He provided answers and relief which I greatly needed. Its not a guessing game when it comes to learning about injury of the body and your physician, and Dr. Nisanoff was direct and gave me a course for treatment.

Dr Nissanoff, with a full waiting room,listened to my problem, and explained in detail what my injury was. He immediately recommended
an X-ray and following the examination of the X-ray, recommended therapy first,, before offering surgery as the only answer. I will go back following one month of therapy, and have no doubt at all, whatever he may recommend, will be the right answer.
He is warm and kind, and I felt completely confident with his diagnosis and advice.

Receptionists were unfriendly, unhelpful, and late to show up to work. I had an 8AM appointment but nobody had even arrived to the office until after 8AM. Doctor Nissanoff was caring, quick, and pleasant. If only his support staff were more helpful and interested in customer service. Electronic check-in had way too many forms & waivers (more than any other medical office I've ever visited).
