He earned his undergraduate degree in Cell Biology from the University of California, Davis in 2010. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2019. Dr. Sheu completed his orthopedic surgery residency at McLaren Flint in 2024, followed by fellowship training in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Stanford University in 2025.
Dr. Sheu treats a full range of pediatric and adult orthopedic conditions with particular expertise in limb lengthening, growth plate sparing surgery, and deformity correction. He is skilled in procedures involving the NuVasive PRECICE magnetic telescoping rods, OrthoPediatrics DriveRail frames, and ORTHEX hexapod systems. His clinical interests span from pediatric flatfeet, clubfoot, and congenital talus deformities to upper extremity angular deformities, fractures, hip dysplasia, patellar instability, and sports-related injuries.
Outside of his professional career, Dr. Sheu enjoys spending time with his wife and young son. He is also an accomplished martial artist with a 1st DAN black belt in Hapkido and a red belt in Tae Kwon Do. He was a competitive alpine skier at UC Davis, enjoys acrylic and Japanese ink painting, and nature photography.
