Dr. Dozier is a native of Orlando, Florida. She graduated with honors from Cypress Creek High School. She was awarded a Biology Office of Naval Research Scholarship to attend Florida A & M University where she graduated magna cum laude earning a B.S. in Pre-medicine-Biology. She continued her education at George Washington University where she worked on a Masters of Public Health with her focus on Health Promotion- Disease Prevention.
Dr. Dozier earned her doctorate at Barry University School of Graduate Medical Sciences where she was recognized as a Merit Scholar for her academic achievements. She completed a three-year surgical residency at the Atlanta Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Decatur, Georgia where she served as Chief Resident during her final year.
