We recently moved back to the San Antonio area after living in Houston for the past 25 years. Because of COVID-19, I’ve hesitated to establish myself with a new cardiologist, but I’m glad i did; Dr. Magallon and his team couldn’t have done a better job in filling the void I created when we moved away.
The staff was very attentive and the only reason I even thought of giving a 4-star rating was just the extended wait time. Understanding the situation our world is in today, I think I can easily overlook the extra time and give them a 5-star rating.
Dr. Magallon was super-attentive and was quick to reciprocate the level of vocabulary that I have adapted to when it concerns my heart treatments. As trivial as it may seem, this is more appreciated than one would expect.
I highly recommend Dr Magallon.

Dr. Magallon is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego in La Jolla. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California at Los Angeles. He then trained at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, for both his internship and residency in internal medicine. Dr. Magallon then went on to complete his Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular Fellowships at Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Magallon's professional interests include the management of coronary and peripheral atherosclerosis. Dr. Mogollon and his staff speaks English/Spanish which is an asset. Excellent bed side manners. He took time for the exam and explain everything asked. He ordered and explain further treatment. It was a very nice experience.
