Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. Jose Medina-Sanchez is now a pain management physician with the Florida Pain Relief Group.
Dr. Medina-Sanchez graduated from the University of Connecticut, and completed his residency at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital as Chief Resident. He is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He also completed a fellowship in Interventional Spine and Pain Management, which provided extensive training in all non-surgical spinal procedures. He specializes in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and stroke patients.
He is actively involved in nursing home rehabilitation for long-term and short-term residents.
