Since Dr. Woodhams was on maternity leave, we saw Dr. Rodriguez. He was a very nice, personable dr! He was very friendly, greeted my son & I with great enthusiasm. He was able to give me an explanation and diagnosis for my son during our visit. Very good dr!

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. Rodriguez completed his bachelor's degree in science at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, and a medical degree from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Dr. Rodriguez came to Georgia in 1981 to do a residency in pediatrics at the Medical College of Medicine in Augusta. Since 1981, he has been practicing in Cobb County. In 1998, he completed a Master in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. He is board certified in pediatrics.
Dr. Rodriguez holds two academic appointments in the pediatric departments of two medical schools. Since 2000, he has taught third and fourth year medical students as clinical professor at the Medical College of Georgia, and since 2005, he has taught third year medical students as adjunct associate clinical professor at Morehouse School of Medicine.
Dr. Rodriguez serves on the board of directors for the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics as a District II Representative for Cobb County and Douglas County.
Dr. Rodriguez is married and has two daughters. In his free time, Dr. Rodriguez enjoys traveling with his wife, playing classical guitar and enjoying a good game of chess.

We love his bedside manner! He does an excellent job interacting with my children who are 3yrs. old and 20 months. I just wish the wait time was less.

Dr. Rodriguez is an excellent Dr. We have used him since our first child in 2004. He's very good with kids, very knowledgeable, and always seems to care about each and every patient. Most importantly, my kids like Dr. Rodriguez.

Doctor Rodriguezis one of the best pediatrician !!! He is answering every question and u never leave the appointment without getting your answers!!! He is great !!!! The staff in the front office where u sign in they need a little more customer service because today my question were answered with attitude and it wasn't really nice !!! Other than that doctor is great ...I wouldn't change him for anything!!!! Thanks doctor Rodriguez!!!!!!

As sweet as he is no one should have to wait for 2.5 hrs with a screaming baby. Had I been updated at all I would have rescheduled the appt or at least gone home to get the baby's pacifier, bottle and food since I ran straight there from work so as not to be late. He is sweet and probably a good doctor but I will not see him again.

He did a terrific job treating my daughter with strep. Dr. Rodriguez has a true gift to approach and relate to children even when they are sick.

Dr Rodriguez is an excellent pediatrician. I highly recommend him. He listen all the questions with patience that a new mom can have. I have never feel rush in my appoitments. Actually, I used to go to another office and the service and doctors were awful, finally I got a referral for this office and I have been very happy with Dr Jose Rodriguez and the nursing staff. My baby has gone to this office since she was a week old. The only improvments would be the administrative staff and the waiting that is usually more than 15- 20 mins.

Dr. Rodriguez always does a wonderful job answering all my questions. My children (ages 3 and 15 months)were very calm during their check-up visit. No one cried because he did a wonderful job engaging them which reduced their anxiety.
