Convenient location. Booked via online app (ZocDoc). First had complete examination by staff (distance, eye chart, pressure, diliation, then saw Dr DeLuca. He explained all the procedures, with videos to further provide insight to diagnosis which requires followup procedure. Discussed process, upside, possibilities and risks to my satisfaction. Comfortable pleasant examination/waiting rooms. (Could use choice of tablet or paper forms to capture our information).

Dr. Joseph A. DeLuca grew up in Westchester County. He attended Iona Preparatory School in New Rochelle where he was a regent scholar. He went on to Fairfield University where he graduated with honors. He attended Rutgers Medical School, which is now the Robert Woods Johnson Medical School. Dr. DeLuca supported his education through outside jobs and student loans. It is of note that he was only one of two students to be accepted as an out of state resident to Rutgers Medical School at the time.
Dr. DeLuca attended the Affiliated Eye Residency Program where he was elected chief resident in his final year.
He received the Irving Shulman MD Memorial Award for “Exemplary Compassion and Medical Expertise” and the “Award of Excellence in the Surgical Education of Residents.” He has been featured in several newspaper articles, and magazines, among them The New York Times and The Star Ledger. Dr. DeLuca has been elected to every Best Doctor list year after year. These include New York Magazine, Americas Top Doctors, Best Doctors, and Inside New Jersey Magazine. He has published a handful of articles early on in his career and continues to be on the cutting edge of every new ophthalmic Medical and Surgical innovation.
Presently, his interests lie in the area of Premium Intraocular Lenses for cataract and lens exchange surgery. Dr. DeLuca is the foremost authority in this area. Laser Vision Correction and Corneal Transplantation also continue to be his forte. He is a member of the Crystal Lens Center of Excellence.
His outside interests include skiing, golf, tennis, fitness, and watching his two boys grow up.

This was by far the worst Dr. visit I have ever experienced. Waited more than an hour and half till the Dr. saw me. Staff is super unfriendly. Here's a tip, before leaving a patient in a room for over half an hour alone, make sure you let your patient know how long the Dr. will be. The Dr. also prescribed me contacts that have been discontinued for TWO YEARS now. So much hassle and not a single "sorry" from their staff. I will NEVER be going back here ever again.

You should link better your ZocDoc with the practice , I waited over 30 minutes before I approached the front desk to ask about the wait. Though They checked off my name they didn't have me on the schedule cause they never linked the web site to their practice schedule and just kept me waiting The web program and the practice should have a better sync. Other than that I have a good visit .

The only negative comment is not being able to pick out the glasses because the Optical technician is on maternity leave and there's no backup. Unfortunately, you would have to drive to another location for the hardware. It's unnecessary to have patients drive to other locations.
