Dr. Sullivan first experienced the power of Chiropractic medicine while playing NIRSA Men’s Soccer for Colorado State University, when he suffered from repeated head and neck trauma from heading the ball. He noticed his ability to organize his defensive line and perform at the high level necessary was becoming impacted due to his pain. Through Chiropractic care, Dr. Sullivan was able to fully return to his pre-injury level of play and had his eyes opened to the power of the human body’s ability to heal itself if given a fighting chance.
At the time of his injury, Dr. Sullivan was pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Medicine from CSU. Dr. Sullivan was very active in the Men’s Soccer program holding both a team captain position and club President chair. Through his personal experience, he decided to change his course after becoming open to the science and philosophy of Chiropractic medicine.
Dr. Sullivan attended Palmer Chiropractic College West Campus in San Jose, CA. During his time at Palmer West, he was part of the Sports Council and treated athletes at 5K event, triathlons, the Sea Otter Classic bike race, San Jose State Rugby games, and many more community events in the Bay Area.
Being a native of Colorado and growing up in Conifer, it was an easy decision for Dr. Sullivan and his wife to move back to their home state. In their free time, they can be found camping, hiking and exploring the many mountains of Colorado with their Son. Dr. Sullivan still enjoys the competition of playing in various soccer leagues around the Denver Metro area and a round of golf in the 300+ days of sunshine this beautiful state offers.
