Josephine Kim, MD, specializes in providing comprehensive care for gynecologic malignancies, offering chemotherapy and long-term surveillance following treatment. Dr. Kim's focus is on providing individualized, compassionate care for women with ovarian, uterine, cervical, vulvar and vaginal cancers. She performs a full range of open and minimally invasive procedures, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery, for gynecologic cancers and complex benign gynecologic conditions.
Dr. Kim's recent research has focused on preventing endometrial cancer using potential chemo preventative agents and identifying optimal treatment strategies in various clinical settings to improve patient outcomes. She has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and non-peer-reviewed online publications. Dr. Kim has made many poster and oral presentations at annual meetings of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology and the Western Association of Gynecologic Oncologists.
