I really liked Dr. Anthony! I went in "knowing" exactly what I needed, and honestly, when all was said and done, I figured out that what I needed was to be heard by a doctor. I needed to be an individual, not a name or number on a form. I needed treatment tailored to my needs, not tailored to a group of people that happened to have similar symptoms. Just having a professional listen to me, and really hearing me, helped 100%. I would recommend this doctor 1000 times over!

However, Joshua's upbringing was marked by a significant challenge - the incarceration of his father due to a repeating cycle of substance abuse. This reality cast a shadow of confusion and isolation over his young life, often leading him to conceal this aspect of his life from his peers to avoid judgment. The absence of a father figure during these formative years was a profound experience that shaped much of Joshua's emotional landscape.
Recognizing the need to address his inner turmoil, Joshua's mother and teachers connected him with a therapist. This intervention was a turning point for him, offering a path to channel his emotions constructively. Through therapy, Joshua learned to process his feelings of anger and frustration, leading to a significant transformation in his outlook on life.
Fueled by a passion to make a meaningful difference in the world, Joshua embarked on a rigorous academic journey. He earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from Oakwood University, followed by an M.D. from Meharry Medical College. He completed his residency in Psychiatry at Meharry Medical College and also holds a Master's in Business Administration from Northeastern University.

I recently concluded an appointment with Dr. Anthony, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The convenience of attending therapy from the comfort of my own home cannot be overstated.
The session was conducted over a secure and reliable video platform. The audio and video quality were excellent, with no noticeable lags or interruptions. The platform was also very user-friendly!
Dr. Anthony was engaging and attentive. He maintained excellent eye contact, listened intently, and provided thoughtful feedback. The virtual setting did not diminish the quality of our interaction; in fact, it felt just as personal and connected as if we were in the same room.
Overall, my therapy session was a resounding success. The blend of convenience, technical reliability, and high-quality therapeutic interaction made it an excellent alternative to in-person sessions. I would highly recommend Dr. Anthony's services to anyone considering it!
