Dr. Joshua Gordon is a resident physician in the Chehalis Family Medicine Rural Training program. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Saba University School of Medicine and is currently completing his residency in Family Medicine through the Chehalis Rural Training Program. Originally from the tiny township of Schreiber in the wilds of Northern Ontario, Josh grew up amidst the great Boreal Forest with beautiful Lake Superior in his backyard. He enjoyed a classical Canadian upbringing full of outdoor fun and hockey—lots of hockey. While Northern Ontario still holds a special place in his heart, his home prior to residency was actually much closer to Chehalis, WA, in nearby Victoria, BC, where he, his lovely wife Danielle, and, more recently, his son Evander had been living. Being from a small town, Josh has always been a family doctor at heart. He remembers the broken bones and scraped knees of his youth and how he and his family could always count on their family physician to help when needed—whether in the emergency department, the clinic, the hospital, or even at home. He hopes to practice rural medicine (with everything that this entails) after residency and is truly very excited to be working with Chehalis Family Medicine.
