Joshua Grant is a dedicated and detail-oriented ophthalmologist, medical retina specialist, and uveitis specialist based in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Dr. Grant obtained his medical degree from Wayne State University. He also completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of South Florida. He continued his training by completing a fellowship in medical retina and uveitis at the University of Michigan, Kellogg Eye Center.
Dr. Grant is a founding member of Bloomfield Eye Associates. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Patients see him for a variety of reasons, including macular degeneration, dry eyes, glaucoma, flashes and floaters, diabetic eye disease, cataracts, and annual eye examinations.
Dr. Grant specializes in medical management of retinal diseases including diabetes, macular degeneration, and inherited retinal disease. He is an expert in retinal laser surgery in the treatment of diabetic eye disease, retinal tears, and localized retinal detachments. He also is an expert in performing injections for macular degeneration, diabetes, and retinal venous occlusions. Additionally, Dr. Grant performs cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation.
