Dr. Joy Bate is from the Rhome, Tx area and graduated as Salutatorian from Northwest High School. She has a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University. Dr. Bate graduated as Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry with bot an OD and PhD degree.
Dr. Joy Bate enjoys spending time with her two young children and her husband, Ted. In her spare time she likes to go flying with her family and husband. They live on an airpark with their own hangar and her husband is a S80 pilot at American Airlines. She also enjoys going for long walks with her family and their schnauzer, traveling, and reading.
