I had been looking for a PCP and I’m glad I found Dr. Tatelman! She is very nice and very professional. She was very thorough in asking me about my medical history. I had some health concerns and I feel she really cared and understood my concerns. I had blood work done and she emailed me on Sunday with the results! I’m so appreciative that she took time on a weekend to reach out. I had follow up questions about the blood work and she answered those too! If you need a doctor or need to change doctors, see Dr. Tatelman.

Afterwards, she completed a residency in Family Medicine at Saint Mary’s Hospital and a fellowship in Geriatrics at Sir Mortimer B. Davis Jewish General Hospital.
Dr. Tatelman offers a wide range of pediatric, adult, and geriatric care services. Dr. Tatelman is one of the most patient, caring, and professional primary care doctors that I have seen. Seeing Dr. Tatelman changed my impression with primary care doctors who generally spend very little time with each patient and give very standard recommendations. Dr. Tatelman carefully listened to my stories and asked follow up questions to make sure she really knew the root causes of my symptoms. In the end Dr. Tatelman also gave personalized recommendations and action plans. Highly recommended - best primary care doctor in the Silicon Valley.

I went for a pap smear, and she turned it into a routine physical. I was okay with it since I probably needed one, but then came out all of the "do you want to test this or test that"....which I said "NO". I thought her taking a cell call during my examination was a little tacky.

Dr. Tatelman did a very through new patient initiation. She asked questions around my family history and I felt she was able to understand a better picture of my medical history through this. I never felt rushed or talked down to (as some Drs do). I would and will go see her again.
The only negative is the office. It seems a bit hodge podge, with filing boxes in common patient rooms and check-in around the corner from the main area (which is a testing center).
Upon check-in I was scolded for not arriving 15 min early to fill out paperwork, even though I had already done so online to save everyone time. The office location is great even with these negatives, right next to El Camino Hospital.

Dr. Tatleman is a very good doctor. She is a good listener and has always been spot on with all her diagnoses. Unlike other doctors, she does not go overboard with tests and is cognizant of my coverage. I would recommend her very strongly.
I still visit her even after moving away from Mountain view.

I see Dr. Tatelman for general medication management and as a "start point" for referrals. She's been excellent about taking on medication management, and helps me feel empowered, not defensive, about my self-observed medical needs.
She's very respectful and empowering, and because of this I take her thoughts and suggestions very seriously--she hasn't led me astray so far!
