Dr. Juan Davila’s motto when guiding clients on their health journey is “it’s a team effort.” He encourages people to collaborate with him and the Harbor Health team and do the intentional work necessary to reach their goals. He is board-certified in both family medicine and lifestyle medicine and practices evidence-based education and treatment with lifestyle changes as the foundation of care. Dr. Davila works with people five years and older and has experience collaborating with those experiencing multiple chronic diseases and those who strive to optimize health through preventive measures.
To Dr. Davila, it is not his job to tell a person what health care path to take, but rather to make recommendations and allow the person to choose the appropriate path. He follows the advice he offers his clients and is always working on his own health journey, including getting enough sleep, exercise, and proper nutrition. His love of retro video games is part of his stress management plan. He enjoys building computers and has a video arcade in his home office. On the weekends, he loves to get outside in Central Texas and be active with his wife and two children.
