Dr. Fontana received her Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University in Biological Sciences and then earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2008. After her internship year, she completed a two-year research fellowship at Northwestern University/Feinberg School of Medicine at the Department of Dermatology where she participated in dermatological research.
Dr. Fontana then returned to Michigan to complete her post-graduate training in Dermatology at Wayne State University. Dr. Fontana has achieved honors in many clinical areas during her academic studies and has a notable list of publications as well as lectures and presentations.
Dr. Fontana is a board certified dermatologist and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of acne, psoriasis, eczema, contact and occupational dermatitis, allergy testing, hives, autoimmune and blistering skin conditions, warts, skin cancer screening and treatment, mole mapping, hair loss and nail disease. She also performs surgical skin care and offers a variety of cosmetic procedures including laser treatment, chemical peels, fillers and Botox.

Dr. Judy is very kind and sweet. She patiently answered all my queries without any rush. I've had appointments with other doctors earlier where, my consultation just lasted 5 minutes or less. She recommended few treatments and helped me choose the best and cost effective combination. Overall, I was very pleased with my consultation and experience. I guess, I found the right Dermatologist. I would surely recommend Dr. Judy Fontana!

Dr. Fontana is young, articulate and knowledgable. She made the most of our time, making sure to answer all my questions. She recommended products only because I specifically asked. She was sensitive to covered and non-covered procedures so I wouldn't be surprised with a bill. The building facility is beautiful and clean. Her staff is great too! A very positive experience.
