After moving down to Florida with my husband almost 2 years ago. I was very lucky to find Dr. Freling as my new GYN. She is very thorough and personable in her exam. She takes the necessary time needed to understand my needs and guides you appropriately. I have recommended her to friends and other women looking for a very good GYN who they can trust.

Dr. Julia L. Freling is a board certified obstetrics and gynecology physician. She is a current member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist.
Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Freling holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from Emory University in Atlanta. She earned a medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and went on to complete residency on Long Island, NY at Hofstra-Northwell School of Medicine. During her training, Dr. Freling was elected administrative chief resident and awarded the Second Year Teaching Award. She was also recognized as the one senior resident showing most promise as an academic generalist.
For Dr. Freling, one of the best aspects of work in obstetrics and gynecology is caring for women throughout all stages of their life. Her special interests include contraception, high risk obstetrics, and minimally invasive surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Freling loves reading and exercising. She also enjoys trying new foods and spending time with family and friends.

My experience here was really positive. It was my first visit to a gynecologist, and the doctor was so friendly. She was very gentle and helped me to understand my options. The staff was great, and I was seen right on time. One nurse did make a procedure I needed seem a tad intimidating, but the doctor was so comforting and friendly and helped me feel confident and safe. It ended up being just fine. The rest of the staff was lovely too. Would highly recommend anyone visit this practice. You will be well taken care of.

The office was awesome and the doctor was great. My only complaint is that it is difficult to get in touch with people at the office and no one called me to discuss my recent blood work. I called several times and no one was able to answer.
