Dr. Julia F. Malalis is a board-certified, comprehensive ophthalmologist with additional subspecialty training in uveitis. In addition to performing traditional and laser cataract surgery, she has clinical expertise in the diagnosis and medical management of uveitis, which includes treatment with immunomodulatory medications. She graduated from Northwestern University with a degree in Biological Sciences and then received her medical degree from The Ohio State University. Dr. Malalis completed her ophthalmology residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois where she served as Chief Resident. She then completed a clinical uveitis fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
