Ms. Julia Rivera is an amicable nurse practitioner, specializing as a family nurse practitioner. She received her bachelor's degree from Tufts University. She earned her master's degree in family nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. She enjoys sharing her love for healthy living with her patients to inspire them to reach their health goals.
Ms. Rivera lends her expertise at AllCare/Immediate Care. Located in Alexandria, VA, patients visit her for several reasons, including blisters, skin lesions, hand fractures, gastritis, and shoulder pain. She is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

It felt like I didn’t have to lose an arm and a leg to be seen, even though I was “hysterical”, I had some reason for it and I didn’t need you to tell me what it was- you just had to listen to what I was saying and how I was advocating for myself. My actions speak louder than my words.

I made an appt for 7:30 pm and was called back on time, despite the large number of walk-ins who were waiting. That comforted me. I was concerned the high volume of walk-ins would affect my wait time, but it didn’t.
Julia was very professional, and listened to my concerns, plus she reviewed my prior diagnoses. We agreed on a plan of action. I felt listened to and a part of the decision making process for my treatment.
