She earned her medical degree at the University of Tennessee, where she was elected to the AOA National Honor Society. Following medical school, she completed her Dermatology residency at the University of Florida. She is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Mohs Surgery and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
