Dr. Martin was just the sweetest. Full of energy and ready to fix the problem (acne)! Her nurse was wonderful and very kind along with the receptionist who checked me in and out! Its important for a practice that works with problems that can cause serious social anxiety (like I have) to be friendly, sweet, and welcoming. I really appreciated everyone who worked with me. What a beautiful office too! Thanks again, Dr. Martin. See you in October!

Dr. Martin was born and raised in Metairie, LA. She attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Dietetics. After graduating from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, she completed 3 years of general surgery training before realizing that dermatology was her true passion. Following a 1 year research fellowship in cutaneous oncology at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, she returned to Texas to complete her dermatology residency training at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
Her hobbies include spending time with her family who recently relocated to Austin, traveling, and cheering for the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints.

I think she was very friendly and courteous. She engaged us like we were very important and she wanted to see what the issue was in a timely manner. She was also very thorough, which is very important to me. No quick answers that might or might not work. She ran many test right from her office which is also cost efficient. Best Medical office visit I have seen in a long time.

I had a biopsy on my face performed by Dr. Martin. I was nervous about the sensitive location and her sweet demeanor instantly put me at ease. The results were great - barely a mark to show for it. I will continue to see her! A+++!

Great experience! I have 2 daughters that I take to Spicewood. My oldest daughter was very modest and embarrased. They were very understanding and accomodated her in every way.

Best Dr visit ever. Staff was very nice. Dr Julie Martin was very sweet and informative. On my way to doctors office I complained about the almost 30 minute drive. All I can say is that the drive there was worth it. Thanks Dr. Julie Martin and staff! Feeling SO much better.
