Dr. Shih joined the Greater New Haven Ob/Gyn family in 2014 after practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology in New York for 11 years. She is a graduate of Brown University, where she earned both her undergraduate and medical degrees. She then went on to complete her residency training in OB/GYN at NYU Medical Center. In 2005 she was board certified in OB/GYN by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Shih feels it is a special privilege to care for women through life's major stages and offers a full range of services for women from teenagers to seniors. She has special interests in adolescent gynecology, contraception, colposcopy, general obstetrics, breastfeeding, and minimally invasive surgery.
