Dr morales is very sweet, very old school. He’s kind and patient. Doesn’t seem like he uses a lot of technology, but was thorough in his notes. His office has a small waiting room when you first enter that could use a sign to tell you what to do, but besides that, I had a wonderful experience and look forward to seeing him again next week.

I have seen many psychiatrists since I have been in early adolescence. Dr Morales was the first doctor that has ever tried to get to know me. He spent more time with me in one visit than I've ever spent in any other psychiatrists office. He was kind, made me very comfortable. Very nice man and an extremely skilled doctor. I have already recommended him to people that I know. Wish I would have found him years ago! Thank you Dr. Morales.
Dr. Morales is professional and extremely knowledgeable in his speciality. I have had several visits and I’m hopeful of the personal progress that is to come. I highly recommend Dr. Morales.

One if the first things he said to me was that he isn't a pill pusher. I loved that. Too many docs don't want to talk, they'd rather just write a script and see the next patient.
I am so happy I found Dr. Morales. I've been going to him for around four months now and feel so much better then when I started. He was very careful with his treatment plan and spent a lot of time trying to understand what I was feeling before making decisions on how to treat me. I feel lucky to have found a psychiatrist like him and not someone who just prescribes a pill and sends you on your way. I also feel he truly cares about my well-being and is happy to see me doing better. Wonderful doctor!
Dr. Morales forgot about my appointment. I came into the waiting room and waited for over 30 minutes before calling to inquire if he was still available. He then came to the waiting room and was very apologetic. He explicitly stated that he would see me for the remaining 20 minutes left and comp the appointment for his error. However, he did not comp the appointment. He billed my insurance anyway. When I called to inquire and have him correct the error, he was very rude and belittling. I would not recommend him based on this experience alone.
Everything about my consultation was very unpleasant. I typically don't write reviews for anything, but my visit left me so frustrated that I feel the need to warn others. I found it extremely difficult to communicate with Dr. Morales. He seemed to completely misinterpret much of what I was saying. On the opposite side of the spectrum, he has a very thick accent, so it was also difficult for ME to understand what HE was trying to say. To be honest, I could look past all of this if he weren't so rude. He acted as though I had offended him in some manner. He implied that I was flaky and that I "constantly switch medications." This was in spite of the fact that I told him multiple times that I had only ever been on two different medications in my entire life, one of which I took for almost 3 years. I left this consultation feeling much worse, rather than better. It saddens me to think that he is treating patients this way -- people who could really use the help of a good doctor. The road to feeling better is a long one, and all he managed to do was make it even longer for me. I'm surprised by any 5 star reviews for this guy. My experience was definitely not 5 stars. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.
He was very forthcoming about what to expect during the first appointment and I felt very comfortable expressing why I was there and why I was seeking assistance.
Doctor Morales is the best psychiatrist I have ever encountered. You can truly tell he is in this profession to help people who need it. and not for the money. I'm in an extremely difficult financial situation and he provided me with resources to get the help I need. I would recommend him to anyone, any day of the week!!!! He cares and he is so understanding!!
Dr. Morales is unprofessional, judgmental and clearly lacking in recent research in the psychiatric field. First, he refused to allow me transfer over my records from my previous psychiatrist of three years, saying only **he** makes diagnoses. This is despite the fact that my previous provider only wanted to discuss my condition with him as a professional. Second, he seems to have memory issues, as he completely missed our first appointment and then re-asked the same questions during our second appointment. Third, his bedside manner is seriously flawed for a doctor claiming to be a professional in psychotherapy. Rather than listening to me describe my condition, he chided repeatedly at the fact that I was "taking too much medicine" and was "overprescribed." Rather than seeking the underlying cause of my condition, he preferred to lecture me in a judgmental tone. I would not recommend Dr. Morales to anyone.
Very helpful. I feel hopeful about my future.
Dr. Julio Morales, MD Dr. Morales is a excellent psychiatrist. Genuine, honest and speaks to you from the "heart." I would recommend him to anyone that has a true belief in finding themselves. Thank you, Dr. Julio M.
