This visit was the best encounter that I have ever had with an optometrist....& I have seen quite a few over the years. Very thorough. Takes the necessary time to explain diagnostics & their subsequent interpretation. He is very interested in ensuring that the patient is satisfied with the approach. Impressed with the visit. He is very personable. Nice office. State of the art equipment.

I would highly recommend Dr. Catando. I appreciate his use of new technology. The computer imaging allowed him to get a permanent record of my eye health without having to dilate my eyes.

Dr. Catando is a great doctor, helping to explain all the issues or good health I have and how the eye generally works. He took to time to make sure I understood and he answered all the questions I had. Definitely an improved prescription over my slightly fading previous scrip. Very glad to have a caring doctor around South Jersey.

I mostly enjoyed my visit with Dr. Catando. He uses all new equipment and does a good job explaining all available options. My only issue was the long wait I had to see him but I suspect that it may have been due to coming in around the holidays. I will definitely see him again.

Everyone was very friendly....Dr. Catando thoroughly explained all of the scans and tests that were done...I was very impressed with the up to date technology that was used (the 3-D scan was extremely interesting)...I highly recommend Dr. Catando for your eye doctor...It was well worth my one hour trip from Brigantine

Dr. Catando is the most thorough & professional Optometrist I have ever met. He examines his patients with a care & attention to detail that is extremely rare. Moreover, he takes the time to explain to you the reasons behind the tests, and makes certain you understand your results.
Dr. Catando cares about his patients, and treats them with respect and courtesy. His manner is professional, but very friendly, and his staff is equally excellent. I would recommend him without hesitation, especially to anyone looking for more than the typical quick, impersonal eye exam. All in all, a wonderful doctor and practice; one you can trust with your family's health.
