Dr. Thurman was amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone who has been struggling to feel heard by other physicians in the past. She listened very carefully to all of my concerns and symptoms, she went through the diagnostic questionnaires with me very thoroughly and allowed me plenty of time to elaborate and speak, and she never talked over me once, which can be difficult sometimes on a virtual call. I have had difficulty finding proper mental health care previously, and although I was apprehensive to try seeing a doctor I found online again, Dr. Thurman was extremely helpful and attentive, giving me refreshingly detailed information about various symptoms, behaviors, and thought patterns; she carefully explained anything I was confused about and helped me understand my options for treatment, as well as any potential side effects. She easily made a follow up appointment for me to evaluate the progress in one month. Overall, she was friendly and very informative.

Dr. Thurman is the answer to my prayers. My first video visit was 1.5 hours! I was absolutely blown away with how much time she spent digging into my history to properly diagnose me after seeing many other providers who barely scratched the surface. I did a lot of research before finding Dr. Thurman. Save yourself the time and book with her. I assure you, no regrets!

I have had a hard time with Dr. Kali Thurman. My first appointment was rescheduled due to the office having A/C issues. The elevator inside felt old and honestly sort of scary. The appointment itself was fine and she said she would give me lots of great resources. My appointment was on 8/25, and I reached out on 9/7 because my prescription hadn’t been sent in and I hadn’t received any of the resources I was promised. Yesterday on 10/11 I finally received a reply to my email the day before my follow up. Now it is 10/12 and I am trying to do a telehealth appointment because things have changed and I have been waiting in the zoom room for 10 minutes. I don’t have a long lunch break to be able to wait this long and it’s unfortunate that I don’t feel like I’m actually getting any of the help that I need. I’ll most likely have to change doctors.
