Kamilah took the time to listen to all my concerns and address each specifically! She was non-judgemental as it had been a while since I had an annual and said "this is our new starting point" which was reassuring. She is very thoughtful with her approach and to ensure I was not overwhelmed by her referrals to specialists, from the annual, she broke them up for me and had the idea to schedule a 3 month check in to help keep me accountable and adjust our plan before giving me the next set of referrals. It was much appreciated and I felt heard!

Dr. Rose is a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician serving the Norwalk community. She obtained her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., then completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Stamford Hospital and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. During her residency, Dr. Rose worked with the underserved population in Stamford, CT, providing evidence-based medical care to those with limited resources. She then joined the growing Stamford Health Integrated Practices, which is an affiliate of Stamford Hospital, to start her career as a Family Physician in Norwalk. Dr. Rose is passionate about working closely with patients to address their concerns as well as cultivate healthy lifestyle choices, all while striving to provide the best medical care available. She is also fluent in Spanish.

Dr Rose ensured my 17 year old brand-new patient felt assured of Dr Rose’s thorough, interested and respectful examination and discussion. Dr Rose listens carefully, and broaches topics in an organized, deductive, helpful manner, and throughout showed regard and tenderness toward both zone daughter and me, her mom, who asked that I stay for the visit. We appreciate Dr Rose’s grace and sense of humor, too! Very assured we had graduated from pediatrics into just the right, most qualified care.

Dr. Rose's staff are atrocious: they never seem to remember you at all, are frequently tough to get ahold of, surly; difficult all around. Every month for as long as I worked with this doctor, I had problems getting my prescriptions renewed on-time... nobody over there checks their voicemail or e-mails, or the patient portal.

Dr. Rose is very nice and seems very knowledgeable. My only concern was that after discussing my family history in depth and expressing my concerns relating to that, I had to make a second appointment just to come back since the in depth testing was not requested during the first appointment. While I appreciated the follow up call from her assistant, the assistant offered little understanding or a sense of wanting to help me understand what the next steps were. While everyone there is relatively polite, it has definitely taught me that I need to be my own advocate, which is a shame since I go to the professionals for guidance/experience.
