Patient reviews for Dr. Kanwal Khan
She very nice doctor
Dr. Khan did an excellent job removing my Nexplanon implant. I was very nervous coming into the appointment but it was quick and painless and she was very reassuring during the entire process!
It seemed like she rushed through the Pap smear and wanted me out of the office. She placed the pap smear instrument into me with a lot of pressure without telling me to relax. I asked her questions. She also brushed through those as well. She did have a positive attitude. I’ll give it another chance I I know she’ll see this comment.
This was my first visit with Dr. Khan, she acted very professional and listened to me calmly and advised me very well. This was the first visit and i am very hopeful. she is a kind of doctor i would recommend to people trying to get pregnant and need a consultation.
Dr. Khan was exceptional. Very warm yet professional, direct, and made me feel completely comfortable. The only reason for the wait was because she was coming from a delivery at the hospital (understandable), but once I was brought in, I was seen right away.
I was made to wait for over an hour for 2 minute appointment . On top of it doctor never bothered to check me throughly and just made very generic comments . You can imagine how much she could say in a 2 min appointment that too when I was a first time patient . Comments like ‘happens to everyone ‘ ‘no big deal ‘ doesn’t help . Never going back again
Highly recommended and hoping the hospitality remains the same
Nicest doctor I’ve met, very smart she knows what she’s doing. The most helpful OBGYN I’ve known in my area.
I was a new patient but I will never go back to Dr. Khan's office again. First, the doctor was late for all her appointments after 1PM including mine. I was seen after waiting for 1.5 hours but my actual appointment only lasted about 10 mins. She was very quick to do my initial consultation and guaranteed that my results would be ready within 5 days. I called the office numerous times to ensure that the documentation would be ready and the receptionist added notes to my file but when I contacted the office about the results, they didn't have anything and wasn't the least bit apologetic.
Kanwal Khan is very knowledgable and he takes care of patients very well
Receptionist took more than half an hour to sign me in despite of all the forms i've filled out online 2 days prior to the appointment day. It took me ~50 minutes to finally talk to Dr., then she left me in the exam room then goes away for another 30 minutes to train a nurse & talk to 2 other patients while i'm waiting bottom naked, barely covered w/ a paper thin table runner fabric.
Dr Khan is pretty nice so should be recommended.
Dr. Khan and her staff were very accommodating, and she did not keep me in the exam room for longer than I needed to be. I'm sure this is because she had a lot of people waiting for their appointments since she got in late from a delivery in the morning. Can't hold that against her. I look forward to going back to her, she gets straight to the point and gets you out fast. However, I feel that with a first time consultation, she should have taken a little longer to get to know me (outside of the paperwork I filled out).
She's very nice and knows what she is talking about. She is also concerned about your diagnosis and wants to help you be the best woman you can be! I highly recommend going to her. She will find the best route for you (:
Since we only saw her this once, it is really hard to say, but my granddaughter, who'd been very worried about the visit, thought she was very nice and would return, so I was more than satisfied with her manner. She also assessed the situation quickly and treated it satisfactorily.
Dr Kahn is very professional and personable. Her staff is very supportive and friendly. I would definitely recommend her to my female co workers, family and friends.
I have a lot of experience with gynecologist because of having many children, and Dr.Khan was one of the nicest doctors that I have met. You was very knowledgable, professional, and sincere.
She was awesome! Very friendly and efficient, took her time to talk about any concerns!
Dr. Khan is a sweet lady and made me feel really comfortable.
I brought my mother here with a very serious health concern. She has been suffering from an 8 week menstrual cycle and excessive blood loss. When I read Dr. Khan's review's, I booked an appointment right away. My experience here has been a nightmare. We arrived on time (Thursday 10/8) and were seen after providing necessary identification. The nurse who greeted us seemed nervous. She did not know how to do a patient history report, nor how to properly label a blood sample. We had to ask her to change the paper/cover roll on the exam table because it was obvious it had already been used. Before entering the exam room, Dr. Khan finished patient history for the nurse. She then pushed for a surgery (D&C) for the very next day. We suggested she look at my Mother's sonogram first, and at least take a blood sample before scheduling a surgery, and also expressed that it would be dangerous to do this procedure without checking to see if she needed a transfusion. Dr. Khan asked us to contact my Mother's primary care physician before disappearing. At the end of our appointment, we were forgotten in the exam room. I found the nurse and asked her if we were done and she had to go to Dr. Khan's office because she did not know either. Dr. Khan then asked us to call back Friday for the results so that we can work to schedule a procedure at a later date . On Friday, I called in. The receptionist that answered let me know that Dr. Khan had left the office and would return on Saturday. I called on Saturday with no response. Due to the holiday, I called again on Tuesday to see if Dr. Khan could look at the blood results and see if my Mother would need a blood transfusion before the surgery. The receptionist let me know that Dr. Khan would call back. She didn’t. I took my Mother to our primary care physician, and she was surprised that Dr. Khan had already scheduled the surgery for next Friday. We had to go to a lab to get my Mother’s blood work done again because at this point, it was obvious that Dr. Khan would not give us the results. Today (10/15), almost a week later, I called the office one last time. The receptionist let me know that Dr. Khan has still not looked at the blood work. The procedure is scheduled for tomorrow. This entire experience has been exhausting, to be honest. The receptionist did not seem concerned that we were unable to contact Dr. Khan. I’m sure this office is fine for a yearly check-up. For serious, time-sensitive issues, they are unresponsive, apathetic, and unprofessional. Please do not send your relatives or friends here. Please be cautious.
Professional and very knowledgeable doctor. I am very happy to find somone like her. Thank you Dr. khan
Ms. Khan was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. She explained everything in simple terms so I didn't have to ask for clarification during the visit and the next steps. I high recommend her.
It was really good and doctor gave us enough time to listen our problem. I would recommend her.
Dr. Khan is professional and friendly. She has a way of putting you immediately at ease. Her manner was thorough and informative and she remained thoughtful and helpful throughout the appointment. I really appreciate her ability to make you feel that she is interested in your overall welfare and long term care.
First experience was great! She was so sweet and her MA was very nice also. Waited a due to an emergency delivery she had but I was completely okay with it. I was comfortable the whole time and love how she has an in office ultrasound machine. Comfortable environment and very nice staff. Everything went great!
I loved her! She made me feel comfortable and confident. Her office is pretty fly as well! I found my female Doctor.
She listened to me and made me feel very comfortable. I was not there for very long, but I am already confident that she will take great care of me!
I am a new patient of Dr. Khan's. I was in for a procedure that had been recommended by a doctor I had used when I was without insurance. I did not bring any records for Dr. Khan to see so she suggested that I call the other office and ask them to fax or speak with the physician. The fax came through within an hour and I was back in her office. She was very understanding and thorough. Made me feel very comfortable. Very excited to be going back to her!
I have been going to Dr Khan since November. I have always found her very friendly and knowledgable. Her bedside manner is really good. She made sure that all my questions answered without rushing. Today, I wanted to discuss with her my concerns about having the third c-section and she took the time to explain me all the in and outs. Considering all the patients waiting after me, I haven't felt even rushed at all. She is probably giving that attention to all her patients which is resulting with somewhat wait time. One thing I was surprised to see during my exam times was that she answers her cell phone from her patients while examining the patients. I called her couple times from her cell phone and she was always available. While it is great to know that you can reach your dr any time directly from her cell phone, it does feel weird when you are the patient in the room while she is talking to her patient over the phone. I consider this is normal for an amicable dr. Since her office is quite new, she has some room to improve from the administrative part. Currently, her husband is helping her whenever her front desk admin can not make it, but it would be really nice to see only women, since the name of the office is All Female OB-GYN. She mentioned that she was working on that so I think it won't be an issue in the future. I always recommend her to my friends.
She is amazing. I couldn't be happier she's seeing me through my awesome journey!
It was a great appointment and I feel Dr. Khan is very personable!
She was extremely nice and helpful. The office was beautiful.
Dr. Khan made me feel so comfortable for my first annual check up . She answered all my questions and her exam room was so girly with pink butterfly gowns and warm and fuzzyfoot holders. I loved it! ....I will definitely keep her as my ob/gyn!
Dr. Kanwal khan was amazing, nice and very welcoming! Loved the office and the rooms inside I came in and left with a smile on my face! Everything was great!
She is the best Dr. and I highly recommend her to all expecting moms. Very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. I'm glad to find a Dr. like her. It's hard to find good doctors like her these days.
She is a very kind and patient doctor with a lot of knowledge and a very good bed side manner! She made me feel very comfortable.I would recommend her to all my family and friends. The wait time was less than 20 minutes and she explained everything in great detail. She did not rush through the exam nor questions and she listens!
She is the best doctor I have ever had. In fact, she is very personable, professional and does everything on her own in her office. She is the perfect combination as a physician!
Dr. Khan was wonderful, very attentive to my concerns and thorough in checking everything out. There was also no wait time and as soon as I was done with my paperwork she came out to greet me!
It was my first time seeing Dr. Khan and she was excellent! She was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an OB-GYN.
Very nice first meeting with Dr. Khan. She was friendly, open, knowledgeable and easy to talk to about medical issues. I felt at ease and comfortable with her. I feel confident about her ability to give me excellent medical care.
She's quite the professional, and gave us the reassurance we needed, when we needed it regarding our high risk pregnancy. The in-office ultra sound is a real bonus. We were originally scheduled to see a large obgyn practice in Prince William, we kept getting lost in the phone maze to call them regarding an emergency appt, following visits to the ER., and the big practice didn't even call us back but were sending us through the normal appt channels even though this was an emergency. I booked All Women OBGYN online and had an appt immediately, that was just 1hr time from booking. 15 minutes after being seen I knew my baby still had a heart beat and had a much better idea what was going on.
I am extremely happy with my decision to see Dr. Khan. I felt comfortable and welcomed from the moment I stepped into her office. I will definitely be going to back to see her!
Dr. Khan is truly a beautiful soul. I am very grateful to have found her. I figured that she'd be good and gentle, but she sincerely enjoys what she does. She's honest and thorough about any concerns that you have in a clear and helpful manner. You will know her genuineness the second that you meet her. I didn't wait long at all, just a few minutes. And the patient before me left in a great mood. So did I.
Dr. Khan is phenomenal. She is sensitive yet speaks to you on a level you can understand. She was extremely professional and her bedside manner was exactly what every woman wants. I felt comfortable with her immediately when she understood and reiterated to me my concerns. It was such a relief to find a doctor who was listening to me and not staring at a computer screen while clicking and just nodding their head. Dr. Khan sits with you and is looking at you. She was genuine and even had a nice sense of humor. I think technology has made us forget how much human interactions and conversation make a difference. I would recommend her without reservation to women of all ages. The process to make an appointment was awesome. I did it online thru zocdoc. Then Dr. Khan's office emails you to fill out forms. I also received a call confirmation from the clinic. Parking is free outside in the lot. They are on the fourth floor to the right of the spa undergoing construction. The clinic is brand new and apparently they just opened on October 1st 2014. They have refrigerated bottled water as well as protein bars out for you. The decor is cozy. Nice flooring too. It is pretty upscale in my opinion and a nice refreshing change from the standard clinic setup you usually see. The ultrasound room has a screen for you to also see what the doctor is seeing which is amazing and appreciated.
I have bounced around OBGYN docs, thinking they were all the same. I was wrong, my yearly appointment was much more pleasant this time. Dr. Khan was very warm and welcoming. She is just striking out on her own, so her office is brand new. From the water and granola bars in the waiting room to the homey interior decoration details, it felt very friendly and so different than other doctors offices. She spends a lot of one-on-one time with her patients and felt like an old friend by the time I left - a friend I can trust with anything. I have found the right doc to help me when we are ready to start a family.
