Dr. Dimalanta uses a variety of approaches including evidenced based treatment and collaboration with her clients. Primary approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. She incorporates wholistic treatment by addressing body and mind treatment including yoga and movement. Dr. Dimalanta is a Certified Health Coach and has a yoga teacher certificate. I use a collaborative approach and treatment includes trauma informed care as well as implementation of the body/mind connection drawing upon my Health Coach Certification and Yoga Teacher Certification. I draw upon my experience of working with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities and identify as Asian American/Pacific Islander.
