Karen Rosewater is a graduate of Yale University and the Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Boston Children’s Hospital-Harvard Medical School and her adolescent medicine fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital and Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Rosewater also received a Master’s in Public Health from George Washington University. She is a member of the AOA Medical Honor Society, the Society of Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM), the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED), and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Dr. Rosewater has been recognized for her exceptional work in research, teaching, and community service; she’s been awarded Top Doctor by Castle Connelly and has repeatedly been featured in New York Magazine’s Best Doctor List. Dr. Rosewater is a leader in the eating disorder community and a sought after speaker on medical issues affecting this population. Dr. Rosewater is certified as an eating disorder specialist (CEDS) by the board of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedpNY) and currently serves on the executive board of the New York chapter and the advisory board for the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia (CSAB). Dr. Rosewater has been part of the prestigious Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine practice for over two decades. She is well known for her deep expertise in eating disorders, her enthusiastic collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, and her exceptional dedication to her patients and their families.
