Dr. Karen Stuart was my gynecologist when I lived in Columbus, GA. She has been that best gyn doctor that I have ever had. She is very thorough, takes time to answer any questions you have, and has a humble demeanor, although she has received many honors and accolades for the treatment and care that she has provided to patients through her years of medical practice. I hated that I had to relocate so far away that I could no longer feasibly travel to see her for once a year for the annual woman exam and other services that I needed. With Dr. Stuart, you will never go wrong, and you will be well cared for. Thank you Dr. Stuart.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University, and her doctorate of medicine from Howard University. She completed a residency in OB/GYN at the University of Cincinnati. In practice since 1987 in Columbus, GA, Dr. Stuart has served on various hospital boards and committees at The Medical Center and Doctors Hospital. She also served as chairman of the OB/GYN Department at The Medical Center. Dr. Stuart has been a keynote or featured speaker at various women’s and teen health seminars. She lectures teens on pregnancy prevention strategies and STD’s. She also lectures to Family Practice residents at The Medical Center. Dr. Stuart maintains memberships in numerous organizations, including the National Medical Association, American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, Medical Association of Georgia, Georgia OB/GYN Society, Georgia State Medical Association, Muscogee County Medical Society, & Columbus-Ft. Benning Medical Association. She is active in the community through various civic organizations, including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Jack & Jill of America, and The Links Inc. Away from the office, Dr. Stuart enjoys traveling, gardening, scrapbooking, computers, and music. She looks forward to providing each patient quality, compassionate care.

Dr. Karen Stuart was my gynecologist when I lived in Columbus, GA. She has been that best gyn doctor that I have ever had.
