Dr. Kearns was born in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and went on to complete her residency in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at The Ohio State University and is board certified in both. Since then Dr. Kearns had made Denver her home. She is specialty trained in the care of patients of all ages as her residency was comprised of 2 full years of pediatrics and 2 full years of Internal Medicine. She takes great pride in providing excellent care and learning about her patient's health care needs and lifestyles.
Dr. Kearn's main focus is on preventative medicine including counseling on proven life-saving interventions such as immunizations, cancer screening, nutrition, and exercise. She enjoys educating her patients on ways to help with their medical problems as well as educating them on how to prevent them in the first place. Dr. Kearns has really enjoyed the tremendous partnerships she has created with her patients over the past few years that she has been here and looks forward to creating many more.
Dr. Kearns lives in Denver with her husband and 2 sons. She enjoys spending time with her family and in the great Colorado outdoors!
