Dr. Boyd is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 1999, Women’s Health Style named Dr. Boyd one of Ten Doctors of the Year.
A 2010 recipient of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure’s Community Service Award, Dr. Boyd, is passionate about cancer advocacy. She is the founder of the Ribbon of Hope Foundation, a nonprofit organization that honors breast cancer survivors and their families.
