Everyone here is helpful and nice. The receptionist helped me figure out insurance information and problems that I was having. Dr.Mendez is an amazing doctor that you can be comfortable with talking about anything.

The nurse was fine, but the wait before the appointment took super long,and they kept telling me different prices, last time I thought I was charged a certain amount because I was a new patient, but this time, they kept trying to upsell me. Plus, they were trying to tell me to come back again when all I wanted was a prescription refill. It was a horribly frustrating experience.

Katherine Mendez-Martinez, ARNP received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Barry University. She is board certified in both Advanced Nursing Family Practice and Med-Surg Nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a current member of the South Florida Council of Advanced Practice Nurses (SFCAPN) of Broward.
Katherine has a passion for preventive health and treating the body as a whole. She is a strong advocate for the nursing profession and has educated dozens of new, inexperienced nurses as a preceptor while she was a Registered Nurse on a Cardiac-Specialized floor.
She currently assists her husband with the family-owned physical training lab in North Miami and also has been volunteering as a school nurse/catechist for St Rosa De Lima’s Catholic School in Miami Shores.
Katherine was born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida with her Cuban-born parents and older sister. She is fluent in Spanish and English. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, watching the latest movies and spending time with her family.
