Kathy Puig is a Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who found her passion in helping women over thirty years ago. Kathy originally graduated from Valencia Community College with her Associate Degree in Nursing, and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Cincinnati. Having earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Cincinnati, Ms. Puig worked as a first assistant to gynecologic surgeries before coming to work under Dr. Walker at UroGyn Specialists of Florida. She is an advocate for women, believing that women need to be actively involved in their health care choices. Ms. Puig specializes in women’s health, with emphasis on pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, menopause, Interstitial Cystitis and routine annual exams.

Katherine was great, she really took the time to get to know me, my medical history and really offer treatment that she really believed would work best for me. I went in for my annual wellness visit, and I'm really happy everything looked great but sad I'll only see her once a year. I haven't had such great bedside manner in a long time from a medical professional. The only downside was that I waited over an hour to be seen, I was on time to my appointment and even had all my forms filled out before I got there.

I went for a well woman visit and she was knowledgeble and informative. I was able to ask all questions and get answers. This is the one visit all women dread, but she made it pleasant and comfortable. All staff were courteous and the office itself was nicely maintained.

Katherine and her staff were great to talk to and very knowledgable. She has a genuine nature that makes you forget the moderate discomfort of an annual gynecological exam. You can tell that the entire office staff are on the same page and communicate well together, which is important to me as a patient. A sense of humor goes far in health care, and when combined with knowledge, it is a gem. I highly recommend this office!

Ms. Puig, ARNP was very attentive to my needs. She asked questions regarding my medical background to ensure she provided me the best possible medical care. She made me feel at ease and talked to me during my exam, which helped a lot as medical exams can be very uncomfortable.

This is my second visit to the LK. MARY office. Katherine Puig and her staff are just Wonderful. They all are very professional and very caring. You NEVER feel rushed and all questions are answered. I am in a wheel chair, everyone is so considerate and thoughtful to make my appointment go as smooth as possible and also to make me as comfortable as they can during the exam. I am so grateful to Katherine and her staff.
