I was ill for two weeks and the doctors could not make the correct diagnosis. I had severe ear pain and a high fever. Dr. Soriano studied my case in detail and prescribed medicines, after which I immediately felt better and after two days I forgot about my illness. It was very painful ! Thanks a lot for your help!

Katherine Soriano is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Born and raised in Miami, Florida to Cuban parents. From a young age she was interested in the health sciences and pursued a Nursing degree from Larkin School of Nursing. She began working as a nurse through the Baptist Health system for many years and later obtained a Bachelors degree from Grand Canyon University.
Some years later she decided to continue her education to become a Nurse Practitioner to work with adults and pediatric in the community and improve patient outcomes in a broader sense. She graduated with honors from South University and became licensed and Board Certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners through which she is also a member.
Her goal through practice is to deliver patient centered care with a great focus on patient education through evidence based practice. Ensuring that each of the patient’s questions are addressed and they completely understand the plan of care appropriate to them. Katherine speaks both English and Spanish fluently.

My visit was great. The technician was great as was Katherine Soriano, NP. A bit of feedback though…my scheduled appointment was confirmed, canceled, confirmed again with a different physician I had never heard of and then canceled again. On a couple of days later I received a call confirming the appointment. I’m not sure if this is on Zocdoc’s end or the practices end but it’s very frustrating and confusing. One last bit of feedback would be the confirmations and cancellations come in under Alternatives Counseling Center but the practice I went to is Buena Vida Medical Centers. Overall a good experience in person.
