Dr. Walker graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine (Louisville, Kentucky is her hometown). And, she attended Northwestern University as an undergraduate with a major in Latin American studies. She is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Walker enjoys treating patients of all ages with a variety of conditions. Special areas of interest are the treatment of anxiety and depression. Dr. Walker strives to provide compassionate, personalized care. She has been told by her patients that they really feel that she listens to their concerns and provides valuable feedback. In her spare time, Dr. Walker enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs. She is an avid skier and stays active with cycling and running. Another passion of hers is leading medical mission trips to underserved areas abroad. She has been to Central and South America numerous times.
