I did not like Dr Barry’s nurse. She was very gruff, impolite and very inappropriate when she talked to me about health problems. She was giving me suggestions about my infertility when it was not her place. Stating, “well maybe you should stop being so anxious about it” and “maybe you should adopt”. Had she read my chart prior to making these statements she would not have said them. As a nurse myself, this is was hurtful and upsetting. This nurse needs to be educated on therapeutic communication.
The office needs to be updated and smells like an assisted living facility.
Dr. Barry was pleasant enough but I would not recommend her to see younger patients. She seems like she only works with geriatrics.
I do not like that I have to leave the office to get blood work.

Make sure you come early the first time to fill out some paperwork in addition to those you can do through ZocDoc. The worker at the front desk was efficient and friendly. Dr Barry and her nurse were both helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to get me what I needed and help me through the process of getting blood work.
