What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
I am passionate about making healthcare more accessible, and more comfortable for everyone. I have been an NP in Primary Care and Urgent Care for the last 2 years. Prior to that, I was an ER Nurse for close to 10 years. I am happy to be a part of a health system focusing on making it easier for people to receive quality care, consistently.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
My role as a primary care provider is to listen to what the patient needs. It is important to me that every patient I see feels comfortable and heard. As a team, the goal is to help the patient meet their healthcare goals both mentally, and physically.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I love to garden, cook, and spend time with my wife, and son.
