Kathleen was extremely thorough and friendly. Her office was inviting and comfortable. She had answers to all of my questions and took time to really understand my situation, history and how to improve my health. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She is extremely intelligent and seemed legitimately interested in getting me healthy in a natural way. Very wonderful doctor and person.

Kathleen Kuhn is an insightful and enthusiastic naturopathic doctor serving the city of Portland, OR. Dr. Kuhn is an alumnus of Barry University in Miami Shores, FL, where she earned her undergraduate degree in biology. She received her medical training from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ.
Dr. Kuhn is devoted to ensuring the longevity of her patients’ health and developing long-lasting relationships with them. Her highest priority is making sure that the needs and comfort of her patients are always met and to that end, she treats them with the utmost kindness and deference.
Dr. Kuhn is also very transparent with her patients about their health and treatment options. She employs gentle, natural techniques to alleviate and treat their medical complaints and emphasizes disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.
Outside of work, Dr. Kuhn loves to exercise every bit of her humanitarian instincts; she has served in many volunteer capacities in the various communities she has been a part of.

I've been to a naturopathic doctor once before and was really disappointed. It was not at all what I hoped it would be, but after deciding to try again with naturopathic medicine, I found Dr. Kuhn, and she was like a breath of fresh air! She is fabulous! I've had chronic problems for YEARS, and she's actually helping me get to the bottom of them! In the past, doctors would usually prescribe medications for my symptoms without treating the problem, but Dr. Kuhn uses the symptoms to actually treat the problem!! She knowledgeable, she really LISTENS (she spent over 90 mins with me), and I would absolutely, totally recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Kuhn took time to listen to my situation and history, asked questions and provided sound feedback. I was looking for a primary care physician and walked away with a high sense of confidence that Dr. Kuhn will be an exceptional choice.

Dr. Kuhn was so amazing to go too. I hadn't been to a Dr. in along time. She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed! She listened to me and wanted to know my in depth medical history! She was wonderful to talk to and so personable! She was so professional and easy to work with. She will be the only Dr. I visit! II highly recommend her to everyone. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Kuhn was the first ND I have seen, and I have to admit I was a little skeptical, but I needed to find another approach to my chronic pain. She was wonderfully kind, explain everything clearly, and I believe she geniunely cared. She listened and waited to start explaining until I had finished talking. I felt like a human being, not just another name on some chart notes.

I came to see Dr. Kuhn because she helped my daughter with her health problems and I am sure glad I did. She spent well over 2 hours talking with me and getting a full health history. She was very thorough and I could tell she is well trained and very caring and interested in helping me toward better health. I take about 18 meds and have severe GERD and Type 2 Diabetes. She took so much time with me but charged me for only 90 minutes. I'm so impressed with her ability, knowledge, and skills, and can't wait to begin eating better and taking the supplements she gave me. I have a very positive outlook for my health in the future thanks to her. I'm so thankful to my God for directing me to see her. She is also an excellent listener which is a highly prized asset in a doctor.

I have seen Dr. Kuhn for 4 months. I am impressed by how much she cares about her patients. She is thorough and gets down to the problem. My health has improved much (blood tests have shown) and I am grateful to have such a doctor who cares.

I hadn't expected her to take so much time with me as we reviewed my medical history... I appreciated the care she took to ask and hear about my complaints, and her many suggestions for some new strategies. I also appreciated her offer to "create the space" for a short quiet time prior to the actual appointment-- much needed.

I was very impressed on how thorough Dr. Kuhn was. I didn't feel rushed & she made sure she got everything in my adjustment for full body wellness not just the one spot I came in for.
