Kit was very personable, she made me feel at ease. Sometimes providers don’t understand talking about our situation can be difficult but she made me completely comfortable so I was able to be comfortable enough to be honest resulting in her being able to give me clear and concise information.

My visit with Kit was very informative. She provided detailed tips on best practices as it relates to being healthy and weight loss. She was very patient with me. I took notes and sometimes had to ask her to repeat what she said and she did so with a smile. I plan to put into practice her suggestions and meet with her again in 3- 6 months to share my results. If you are looking for a dietitian who is professional, knowledgeable, and a great listener, then make an appointment to meet with Kit.

A native of East Texas, Kit earned a BS in Sociology and Health from Texas A&M University. She continued her studies in clinical nutrition at The University of Texas Pan American before completing a fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine. Kit's passion is educating and empowering patients to prevent long term complications caused by diabetes and other chronic diseases.
