I have a severe case of plantar fasciitis and this doctor is a specialist in the field and came highly recommended. She was very abrupt and brief and it seemed like she didn't have time for any questions I might have. She was only in the room with me for about 10 minutes. On the other hand, she was ready and willing to order an MRI so that we can get more information (none of the other doctors I saw felt like that was necessary). It appears she knows what she is doing - she just was a little more brief than I expected.

Nurse listened to my issues and I immediately had an X-ray. After talking with the doctor about pain elsewhere, she requested an additional X-ray, then looked at them immediately to discuss. 8 weeks of Physical therapy were
ordered. I’m not sure my problem was completely diagnosed, but this will be a good start.

I saw Dr. O'Connor for a foot fracture with fractures of the 3rd and 5th metatarsal and cuboid bones. I called ahead of time to make sure the office would have office to my Medstar Urgent Care X-rays.
Dr. O'Connor was very knowledgeable and was surprised that I hadn't broken my 4th metatarsal bone, since it is common that they all often break. I was happy to hear that I could start walking on my foot with the walking boot I had gotten at Urgent Care.
I had a number of questions to ask her since this was my first bone break especially with the foot She patiently answered each question ranging from where if I should wear a sock and the moisture build up in the boot, to sleeping, and my chronic ankle weakness which lead to the fall. She prescribed Physical Therapy to help strengthen the ankle plus rehabilitate the foot and provided foot and ankle exercises to prevent things from tightening up too much. She asked if I had asked all my questions. I appreciated her time and knowledge.

Dr. O’Conner was excellent. I was here for follow up on ORIF surgery/ankle fracture which happened out of state. She is knowledgeable and caring and took time to answer all my questions.

Dr. Oconner was wonderful! I broke my leg in July and because I have multiple sclerosis, I had to come in every two weeks to have my leg checked. She was afraid that I would develop sores on my skin and I wouldn’t know it. Every visit has been wonderful. She is very empathetic and caring. She takes the time to make sure my break was healing and made sure I was OK. She explains everything very thoroughly.
I highly recommend Dr. Oconner.
