Katie Sigler is a Certified Nurse Midwife at Oula, a maternity care clinic offering comprehensive support before, during, and after pregnancy. Katie believes birth is a transformative experience for families, and we all deserve a level of care and education that acknowledges the many ways that birth can change our bodies, our minds, our relationships, and our communities. She was a teacher before she became a midwife, which has influenced her heavy focus on education in her patient care.
In her work as a midwife and a Labor and Delivery nurse, Katie has helped bring over 1000 babies into the world. Katie has honed her midwifery experience at NYU Langone Medical Center in the Labor & Delivery unit, and at Mount Sinai West, providing full-scope midwifery care including at their former birth center. Katie received her BS in Nursing from Columbia University, her MSN in Midwifery from Frontier Nursing University, her MA in English from Middlebury, and her BA from The Colorado College.
