Hi, I'm Kathy Crotts, RD. I am a registered dietitian who's made it my mission to help people with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), stages 2-4.
After earning my Master's in Clinical Nutrition from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, and working in a variety of nutrition and healthcare settings, I decided to go out on a limb and start helping the group that I LOVE – people with CKD.
What started for me as a quest to learn a new skill set turned into a passion to help people navigate the plethora of information received when diagnosed with CKD.
I make complicated nutrition information easy to understand! By breaking down medical jargon into small, understandable pieces and explaining how that information pertains to you, I can help YOU know exactly what you need to do to care for yourself! I will help you feel confident that you are doing your very best to slow the progression of kidney disease.
I know there is a lot of information, and it is confusing! I know the thought of your kidney labs getting worse is scary! You do not have to do it alone, and I would love to help you!

If this person is no longer providing service, Zocdoc needs to remove this person's information.
I had been trying to contact this provider for 2 months, to arrange an appointment. I received a call back after my initial call, but I could not take that call, and she left a message, with another number to call. I called three different numbers provided over 2 months with no further response.
Finally, I scheduled a video visit on Zocdoc for 5/30/2025 at 3:00pm. Zocdoc said that I would get a message from the provider with instructions for the video visit. I heard nothing from the provider (no e-mail, text, or phone call), by 3:10 pm, so I tried calling the 3 numbers I had. The call to her number on Zocdoc responded with, "This number is no longer in service." The response from the other two numbers I found was, "This number is not taking messages."

Unfortunately we did not have contact with this provider. We called leaving 2 voice mails, but have received no reply. Foolishly, I sent sensitive information, electronically, and regret doing so due to the outcome. Is it possible this provider is no longer available....
