“When I first walked in I didn’t know what to expect but it was spacious and neat in the front waiting room and the receptionist helped right away and Dr Kat had a huge smile on her face that comforted me and didn’t complain at all being due soon to have her baby

About Dr. Kathy Shum-Ellington
Dr. Shum grew up in Katy, TX. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She received her medical degree from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, TX. Dr. Shum then completed her residency training at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. She has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, infertility counseling, and contraception, and is passionate about providing the highest level of care to her patients. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and her dog, Jet.

I personally dont like writing reviews but I never met the woman I only transfered from a different location to see her due to her having a sooner appointment to do my ultrasound as I had just found out I was expecting I just want other people who may have high bmis to know before she does the same to you it was the principle they could have called me ahead of time and let me know they dont see high bmi people instead she waited to allow me to come wait for how long I did even let me pee in the cup and then decided to let her ma come tell me well she cant see you today as she doesn't see high bmi patients and thats it and no real explanation the lady could even say she just said sorry even knowing I also came for nausea medicine due to not being able to eat because it was bad I was just confused as the other location doctor was willing to do my ultrasound and not once mentioned a high bmi and these are same clinics I would say just go to the Galloway or Arlington instead
