Dr. Katrina Chaung is a head and neck surgeon who treats the full spectrum of ear, nose and throat conditions. She is fellowship trained in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, including minimally invasive surgery, and also has clinical interest in treating sinus disease.
Dr. Chaung received her medical degree at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, and completed her residency at the Northwestern University McGaw Medical Center. She completed fellowship training under the guidance of a renowned endocrine head and neck surgeon at Georgia Regents University, formerly Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia.
Establishing an honest, open and trusting patient-doctor relationship is at the core of Dr. Chaung’s care philosophy. She believes that making sure her patients understand their treatment plan and the rationale behind it helps them maintain compliance and achieve better results. She values the time she can spend building strong communication with her patients.
