Doctor Kaushik Govindaraju is very nice and attentive. He cares a lot about his patients.
However, the office as a whole is extremely inconsiderate to your time and their estimated wait time is never accurate. Every time I come to this office it is an unpleasant experience with the office staff.

I was so happy to find this doctor! He is genuinely one of the best I have ever been to. He was attentive and a great listener, asking really insightful questions and making me feel completely heard and cared for. I was able to address all of my concerns, and he was super informative about my follow-up care. I will absolutely go back to this office and continue to follow up with him. Very good initial visit! I'm looking forward to continuing my relationship with Dr. Govindaraju as my PCP. He was thorough, highly attentive to my concerns, proactive, and spoke to me like an adult. I felt like a partner in my care, rather than a subject.

I was disappointed with my recent visit. The appointment felt extremely rushed, and I didn’t feel like there was enough time to discuss my concerns thoroughly. What was more troubling is that I had to follow up myself about abnormal blood test results—there was no outreach from the office. I expected better communication and more attentive care. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Do not go there for a physical. There were close to my office so I went to get an annual physical . They started pushing me to see their Cardiologist even before my visit. During the physical they did an EKG and told me there was a problem and rushed me to get an Echo Cardiogram to bill my insurance extra. Off course there was nothing wrong and they just raised my anxiety as I had to wait in that room for a call from a cardiologist. Reading on Reddit, it seems like a common tactic they use on all patients. This place is very unethical and seems like a class action waiting to happen. They also charged my insurance for an ENT test and all I remember is them sticking a machine in my ear for 2 secs. The doctor didn't seem to care about my health history. Also nobody reached back to talk about the results of the lab tests. They want me to book another appointment and bill your insurance to go over the results. I'm never going back to this place and recommending my co-workers to skip it.

The doctor had an ekg administered as a part of the annual physical (which I have never done prior during other annual physicals). He found a small issue and asked me about it and I said I have never experienced the abnormality. He recommended an echocardiogram, which are usually expensive. I said that I would hold off but he said it would be fully covered…
It was NOT and turns out there was nothing wrong with me. I asked 2 of my friends that are either a resident or a full blown doctor and they read my ekg and determined it was way too farfetched to even have the echocardiogram administered.
Will be switching offices.

He listened to my concerns and asked follow-up questions, offering his view as to the seriousness of my concerns; he nonetheless discussed m follow-up exams and specialist visits that could help resolve my questions, and reassured me on whether they were going to be covered by insurance.

I’ve been coming to MOM for a while, but have never seen this doctor before. He is great, I really appreciated his kindness and genuine care. He was very nice to talk to and I think he is very knowledgeable.
The staff at the lab has been amazing throughout the years (never have issues finding my vein at first try!- which many places do) and the nurses are also usually very nice here. I also have never had insurance issues and it’s easy to schedule/change appointments. I also like that they keep everything on file, so even if you switch doctors they all see all records so no need to explain much.
Very recommended and centrally located in manhattan.
