Dr. Amrute and his nurse were excellent and the care I received from both of them was incredible!!!! However, the check in process at their Centerock Road, West Nyack facility was beyond horrible. There were 2 people working at the check in desk and the line to check in was out the door…about 25- 30 people in line consistently. People (including myself) tried to use the QR Codes given for the appointment, but the scanners were not working. No one seemed concerned about ensuring people were welcomed or assisted. Other than the fact you had to stand in line and a person would eventually wave you over to check in for your appointment….that was the extent of their front desk presence. The check in process and overall front desk customer service needs a huge overhaul!

Kaytan Amrute is a dedicated and diligent OB-GYN and urogynecologist serving the communities of Pomona and West Nyack, NY. Dr. Amrute attended the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, where he received his medical degree, and completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Saint Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center. He went on to complete a fellowship in female urology and neurourology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
Dr. Amrute is a part of Crystal Run Healthcare. He is board certified in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Because Dr. Amrute is bilingual in English and Spanish, patients from a variety of backgrounds enjoy having him as their physician. Dr. Amrute’s clinical interests include urogynecology, use of biomaterials/grafts in pelvic reconstructive surgeries, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Overall it was okay. I did feel rushed in the appointment and felt like my concerns were brushed under the rug. A lot of doctors have been doing this. But overall, I left the appointment feeling unclear and not hopeful. Will be changing doctors.

The Doctor was very polite and answered questions. He did my exam painlessly. I was disappointed when I asked about HRT. I'm 49 and suffering post menopause. It has become life altering. He didnt want to give them. He offered a pill that could help with hot flashes. As bad as they are... least of my problems. He said if he gave HRT it would be VERY short term. Explaining they were dangerous. Also, I would take them feel better and he would pull me off. He said I would then feel worse. Disappointed to tears. He said to see my Psychiatrist for antidepressants. I'm already on anxiety meds that are no longer working. I felt dismissed as being a dramatic crazy women. I don't understand why these people don't understand menapause is horrible for some. Aside from that, he was ok. Just robotic.
