I scheduled a full skin screening through Zocdoc and came prepared with a detailed list of all products and medications I use, as instructed. None of this was reviewed or discussed during the visit. My appointment, originally at 1:10 PM but moved to 2:00 PM, lasted only 15 minutes and did not include the full-body exam I booked. Only one minor concern I mentioned in passing was briefly examined, and the provider left before I could ask any follow-up questions or address my other concerns.
Afterward, I returned to the office to ask why the full screening wasn’t completed and was told the visit was considered a “scalp appointment,” which was not accurate or the reason I scheduled. I was told a full screening would occur at a follow-up I never requested. I am concerned that the visit may have been billed as a full screening despite being incomplete. Overall, the visit felt very rushed, incomplete, and misrepresented, leaving me without the care I expected!!
